The ice is fishable but not great.  I would say it was 4"-5" on 12/31/07.  I seen a guy go down past the powerlines on a 4 wheeler but that is not something I would have done.

Supposed to be pretty warm starting Thursday thru the weekend, so it might be questionable.

It is supposed to warm up today and into the 40's tommorrow but it has been getting down into the teens at night.  I would think the ice will still be fishable but I still would not take an ATV.  Why don't you go to Canyon Ferry and meet up with the rest of us for the shanty get together?

I was out at the causeway yesterday, and there was 8 inches or better all the way from the open water near the bridge all the way past the powerlines, but once you hit the corner where that warm water spring is the ice shrinks to 2 1/2 to 3 inches. We fished from 10 to 4 and it was really slow, only like 3 or 4 troutbites

Krocodile flashers with a maribou jig and a crawler down only about 4 1/2 feet below the ice.
