Varies from lake to lake. Many lakes will be at sunup for a couple of hours and/dusk. My favorite lake the best time is 11am - 1/2pm.

one of my favorite lakes is very stained, 10 am the flags fly. On a couple of clearer ones I get flags as the sun comes up.

9 AM to 10 AM and 3 PM to 4:15 PM. I've caught them at other times but these seem to be the peak times with tip-ups.

In the past it was like clockwork. 10 and 2 i would expect a fish but this year most of my fish have been after 3 so you never really know.

there are 6 of us who go out, so that means 18 traps, we start about 7-8 a;m, 1-2 of us start drilling, the rest start setting traps, usually while we are still drilling, we have flags, it tends to last till about noon,  and back from 3-dusk prolly varies from lake to lake, but thats what works for us, good luck, be safe

Last light is kind of an unknown pike hot bite, that has proven true for me many times. All my biggest pike have come within the last hour of daylight.

I agree with thomas. Last light has been good for me in the past, but it will vary from lake to lake, weather conditions, time of year, ect....

I would say probably 80% of the pike I have caught over 10lbs were between 10am and 2pm.

Most of my big fish came in the middle of the day as well, 11-2. You never know though. I like to fish dark to dark

pike eat all day, the time you fish doesn't matter at all. Pike are the easiest fish to catch.
Leave em on the ice.

I've never seen so much misinformation in one post before. They do not eat all day, the time you fish is very important. Pike are one of the hardest fish to catch. God I hope you mean eat them when you say leave them on the ice.

So, about that......

mid late morning and late afternoon but every once in a while you get one randomly.

The way I see it is, the pike gave me the opportunity to catch it. I might as well do the pike a solid back and put him on his way home in the water.
