Looking for ice northeast indiana

Plan to go drive around on Friday. You guys think there will be any fishable ice?

Small ponds maybe.  If we get anymore snow on the little ice we have it won't make much no matter how cold it gets.

Be careful poking around.  Yesterday the fire dept. rescued a dog that fell thru the ice and it died.  In the evening a tragic accident happened went a lady had a wreck and her car flipped upside down in the river and completely sank.  She didn't make it.  One pond we checked had 1 1/2" of ice on Mon.  Today with the 2" of snow that was melting turned it to crap.  Now we are getting rain and freezing rain.

Most if not all lakes that I pass still have open water in Steuben County.  We just got some snow also -- probably around 3 to 4 inches.

You might find a channel to fish but that's about it. there were guys out  in the north bay at Silver lake just west of 69 and north of the state line. the deepest part of that bay is 15'. It was locked up last weekend so Im sure there is fishable ice.

North end of lake is public access, that’s private where u are thinking. Dead end channel there where u put boats in
