New York Free Fishing Days:
This coming weekend Saturday Feb 17th & Sunday Feb 18th are Free Fishing Days in New York State.
No fishing license is required.
New York State does this to promote fishing but unfortunately they keep it a SECRET!!!
Their publicity department does an extremely poor job of promoting this event.
This is a great opportunity for ice fishermen to introduce others to the fun of ice fishing.
Perhaps you could take a friend or relative out who has never been ice fishing.
Perhaps you could take your wife or your girlfriend or even both out ice fishing.
