I'm busier than ever this year with the online tourney. Shawn has graciously volunteered to help out again with this years derby.

First we need some good ice. OK if we have the derby we will be holding it at Twin Lakes or Cranberry lake or Lake lliff. Both places have a lot of parking & there are now 3 bait shop's with in 2 miles of the lake. All the Lakes are on or off RT 206 . But now we have to wait

Has anyone cut holes at any of these lakes? Seems like this is going to be a real short notice contest if it comes off at all. Almost seems like someone needs to cut holes daily to check conditions.
Theres 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays left in February. March seems a long way off with all the warm weather. How about a location on Twin lakes?

The way it look's it might not happen but who knows. I live with in 10 min's from all the lake's I talked about .I will be checking when there is safe ice. It's not looking good but you never know. I remember a few years back we had a warm spell .. I believe the mid/end of Jan - beginning of Feb but then we had good ice thru March.
