I did about two weeks ago right below the car park access for a couple of hours... Didnt get abite but there would definitely be enough ice.

Yes it was and there was at least 4 inches of solid black ice so I would assume some more has formed now even with the rain we got on Sunday.... I might even give it a shot there tomorrow or the weekend.

anyone have photos of these monster pike? I have fished this pond for many years and nothing that size. fished it all over and many long day. got many many pike but nothing over 4 or 5 ponds. I am not disputing the fact but would just like to see some photos of them monster to get me to fish that pond again. Next ?????? is how many people eat fish out of the pond. I have found lots of grubs and fish lice. I have been told by a biologist that they are not harmful if cooked good. Just in case anyone was wondering.......Jim s

As usually Ben always gets the biggest one! HAHA.  But hey boys...he needs to look out, because I'm beating him this year!
(may be the person who's teachin' me how to ice fish this winter...but he'll be the one cryin' too when I'm gettin' the BIG ones!)

Fished Monday by the Dam from 7:30 to 1:00.  Caught 3 pike all around 28 inches and 5 lbs.  People fishing right infront of the access had a lot more flags than we did.

I was out with someone on Colchester Pond on New Years...and I guess we had some luck.  We got 3 northerns, and I think it was four that got away, but it sucked because this one fish bit off the line as we were reeling him in, and I swear he must have been about 3ft long! Big fish... (plus) being from the adirondacks it was probably the biggest fish I've ever seen...sucks it got away!  Better luck next time I guess.
