2 1/2" of ice today!!!

I walked out on a pond near where I was hunting today and figure id take a peak at it an it was fully iced over. Not to mention this pond is almost 80 acres and had 2 -2 1/2 inches of ice. I went out 25 feet or so. Hoping to be on the ice Friday!! Talk about pumped!

That's awesome news! Where in the state are you? What is the temp holding at up there? Be very careful out there this early.

up in northern Vt. got 6" of snow there last night temps were in single digits most of today. by the time friday gets here we will have plenty of walkable ice. was on 2 1/2" last year on December 13th.

2 1/2 to 3 is very fishable if you travel light. Its almost here
