Well it’s happened again.   

It wasn’t a phone, but a Go-Pro this time. My buddy and I went out for a smelt session Thursday evening when all of a sudden a ferocious gust of wind came to visit us and ripped our pop-up off the ice. I was able to grab onto the shanty, but during the scramble to get camp set up again, his Go-Pro got kicked and down she went.

So, next time tie it up in a corner of your pop-up, or have it on a leash.

I'm starting to worry about these lithium ion batteries on the bottom of the lakes.  I've got one on the bottom of your pond, and one on the bottom of Shelburne.  In my defense, I did catch a digital camera out of Shelburne, so that goes a little ways towards evening the scales of my  mess.
