salmon River

I know it's not an ice fishing topic, but there is a slight possibility I might be moving to Salmon this summer to work as a fisheries tech.  I do fly fish, but only for rainbows and browns, and usually with about a 4 wt. rod.  I have a 6 wt. rod also.  any suggestions on what type of tackle I should be picking up in case I do end up in the salmon area?
