I should post a picture of the setup I cobbled together to make it easier to fill the one pounders, makes it a piece of cake! Unfortunately the anti refillers would probably collapse in shock - so i will refrain.
Looks like a lot of work for a $1.50. Lets see you need a scale, a special hose, room in the freezer, and the 20lb tank needs to be at room temperature.
Been going strong here ih722 for several threads and a couple weeks, wondered when you'd chime in. Lol
Ah, the good old 1lb propane thread. I see the safety nuts and misinformed are at it again.
Not quite $1.50 more like $2.50 to $3.50 a piece or more in my area depending on where you buy them. One could do the easy thing and leave the small tanks outside to freeze but I wouldn't expect an engineer to think outside of the box like that. ;-)Where is this special hose you speak of?
Yeah. Show us refillers and let the scaredy cats cry about it
looks like it would work, how long have you had that set up?
So why don't the manufacturers just recycle the tanks? Not trying to start anything, just wondering.
Bomb? Try shooting one once and see if you can get it to blow...
Open the valve and set it by a lit heater, see if you can get it to blow...We aren't shooting them, we are using them in shanties for heat.
