Madness. I was wearing shorts and sweating my a** off today in Northern IL . Cant wait for ice over  :P

That's nuts, is it locked up tight enough to get on and fish?  When does Spring arrive?

Yeah, they were still driving snowmobiles and quads on last weekend.
Finally warming up this weekend and stuff will melt pretty quick with the super long days and sun.

Lake north of Whitehorse were still locked up last weekend, but got the boat in south of town.  Guessing it's all open now. 

Hung the auger up on after the Easter weekend because nobody would take the risk with me, but definitely left two weekends of pike and burbot spawn on the table.  Hope your boat's ready in time for open water!
