Yeah they like it shallow around the south end of the lake here. Its got a lot of methane pockets that keep the ice open in spots, plus a spring fed slough feeds into this end of lake. Constant oxygen levels and good fish holding spots close to shore!

Duck lake is full of perch. Most days you have to fight them of with a stick to try and catch a bass.

Gotta use bigger baits Russ!!;) Most perch I get while fishing for bass are 10-12 inches if I hook them on my bass lures!
