Can't Take it Anymore...
« on: Jan 07, 2020, 10:32 AM »
Me and my cousin are heading North to the Meredith / Moultonboro area of NH this Friday so that we can stand on some Hardwater.  Planning to fish a couple of 6 trap lakes that I have never been on.  I have three in mind.  Anyone else traveling for ICE??

This was last week in Maine. Not the best year for ice, but enough to make it worthwhile.

Let me know how the ice is up there. I fish the littleton area and the Moore Res so I'm hoping to get on some ice soon. Hate to drive 4 hrs. but its worth it to find some hard water.

I’ve been fishing in the Rutland,Templeton, Hubbardston area in central Ma. for the last few weeks. About an hour ride each way to some really good fishing. Much better than driving an hour to the beach in the Summer.

12 inches of ice on two lakes that we fished. 16 pickerel on Friday. Got the skunk on Saturday but the weather was insanely nice. Fished in a t-shirt for a little while

How do you do at Moore?  I travel up that way to see the inlaws at least twice a year and have been wanting to check it out.  Not to much info on NH pike.  Fished Jericho once ::)

I caught a 21 lber the first time I tried ice fishing the Moore on a 12" sucker. We also caught a few smaller pike but that was about it. Been back a few times only to get skunked on the ice. The spring bite for pike from a boat on the
Moore is insane. The lower can be really good too. I'll head up that way in a few weeks to try it again.
