Cut off a 5 gal pail  just below the twin rims  line with foam

I’m about to make a couple with those thick foam jigsaw floor mats. Otherwise those cheap styrofoam bait buckets, cut a few inches below the lid and cut a slit and hole into the lid.

I’m in the building trades so I used e.p.d.m rubber roofing. I cut to 12 inch diameter and mid a slit to the center and a notch cut for the trap. They keep wind driven snow out of the hole and help prevent hole freeze ups.
