Maxinkuckee Access

When the channels freeze over on Lake Maxinkuckee I know a lot of fish are taken, but where do people gain access to these? I know where the public launch on the lake is, but the lake is not safe to walk until weeks after the channels are safe.

There is a small public area close to the channels to park.  You have to get there early though, only room for about five cars.   From the public ramp continue around the lake and pass the channels, the public parking is on the left.  I hope this helps.  Purduebass
