Perch Fishing
« on: Jul 07, 2018, 09:19 PM »
Hello, new member here looking for some pointers....not secret spots just some info. New to Wyoming. I have fished Crystal Reservoir, Sloan Lake, Packer Lake, Wheatland 3.
Have done quite well at Crystal and Wheatland...but am getting burned out on trout.
Today I had a nice nice sized perch from Crystal on the line that managed to get off....other than that caught more trout.....
I would like a great little place to get some perch or walleye from the bank.
Sloan has produced small perch at best for me...and way to over crowded....
Any good spots on Crystal that anyone has had good luck with perch?
Any help or pointers is much appreciated.

It's not how deep you fish, but how you wiggle your worm !!!

Welcome to the shanty PaddiesDaddy! If you check the Wyoming Fishing Report Archives you'll find past reports from many different lakes and areas. Other than that, you can hit up myfishfinder.com, Ice Shanty's sister site for for your soft water needs.

There is some very good perch fishing throughout Wyoming.

Depends where you moved from.   For me the perch fishing is alot slower here for nice sized eaters.

Also depends how far you are willing to travel to get them.
