Prolly about the same, not much ice 5-7” with all the snow on it, that snow covers up a lot of sketchy places !

2 more snowmobiles went in the drink last night in exactly the same spot , both guys got out . The sleds are still in the lake . Leroy will have some new crappie structure to fish over , as they are in where you saw the guy fishing on the pier Gills-Only

they should have known better.  there are a couple springs back in those channels. maybe they are new lakers and didnt know?  they better pull them out before the state gets involved with it, or that will cost them plenty! lol

10-4 roe, lets hope they marked it!

All three snowmobiles are out of the lake . The first guy in was from crooked lake heading to lake George. The second group was from Indy and were following tracks . RIver scum you are correct this spot hasn’t been safe all year imo

Actually I think the IDEM is more likely to get involved. But then they were castrated a long time ago in Indiana. The Farm Bureau has much more power. I contacted IDEM once on something and they never responded. It had to do with hogs, horses, and cattle fenced up on lake inlets streams in Lagrange County. Apparently no one gives a crap in this state.

For God's sake Oliver lake had a land fill once at the headwaters of dove creek that fed into the lake.
I live in the midwest now but have fond memories of fishing in New England as a kid.
