Trick my new ice shanty
« on: Nov 05, 2017, 07:46 AM »
Just bought 2 of the Eskimo Quick Filp 2 shantys to surprise the wife and kids at Christmas. Anyone have any tips or tricks on different things they have done to"trick out" there shanty? Any and all suggestions are appreciated!

Buy a roll of reflectix, and  line through inside of both shelters. Makes the shanty much warmer, and  brighter as it reflects the light back.

My group of jerks, errr I mean friends, have come up with and installed some pretty cool mods, too.  A shanty is just a blank canvas...pun intended...on which to create your own masterpiece.

Good work.
That's some tasty iced tea.

nice mods there!

like the reflectix idea too!

about all thats been done to my old flip is a couple rod holders screwed to the front of the sled.  i use it 95% of the time just for sled to haul stuff out and a wind break.  it has to be ppretty nasty for me to fish inside it. lol
