SO CLOSE!!!!

Drove around my area today and checked 6 lakes found a couple that had 2 inches of good clear ice but thats not enough for me. If any with better ice are out there feel free to pm me looking for one last trip tomorrow. FISH ON!!!!

I hear ya!!!!  Can't bring myself to the realization that this may be all we have for the season.  Just when it's starting to make ice....here come warm temps again to ruin it.  I'd love to get out 1 more time but no way I feel safe on 2"

Looks like we will have to drive north a couple of hours.. thinking about taking a trip to the houghton lake area February 16 or so

I had 3" on the channel tonight. It was visibly thicker than last night. Ended up with 17 crappie and 32 gills. Lagrange county.
