Lafayette area ice report
« on: Feb 04, 2017, 11:06 AM »
Well I didn't think everything would have been locked up but when I arrived at lake Freeman to go fishing in the boat it was froze up. Couple inches at launch for five ft or so then a inch across lake. No fishing today😔. Stop by Knop lake on my way home it had one to just under two in spots. Not safe  Almost happened here but temps heading up again next couple days. It was a nice start. Stuck in between really sucks
Lol. Stop at Oak Dale dam also water is in great condition seen a couple guys fishing, seen them catch a few white bass I believe. Got minnows at springboro baitstore this morning. Buddy who owns it said walleye are being caught now and some nice ones are being brought in to show off. I'll try again next week to get out again one way or another. South again Crappiecrusher
