Title: Titanium tip up leaders

Enjoy making my own leaders for ice fishing tip ups for northerns and tigers.
I placed an order from bass pro recently... I'm going to try 50 lb single strand titanium.
How many people out there fish with or make their own titanium leaders?
What are the best knots for joining trebles to this wire

For 50 lb wire I would crimp and not tie. It is a much more reliable way to attach hook to line.
