Can't beat a pair of Bata 'Mickey Mouse' boots for the ice.  Don't bother with anything else.

I looked at them at the Syracuse show...they did not impress me at all. Of course, I have Cabelas Trans Alaska boots...it would take a lot to beat those.

Got to agree with the "Mickey Mouse" boots. I never have cold feet with them on :)

I recently got a pair of Baffin Impact boots and they've definitely done the job!  You can't go wrong with a boot made in Canada.  I've had them out on the ice three times and they definitely do the job.  I wore bare feet in them the one day and it was around -20 Celsius and they never got cold.  They are rated to -100 Celsius/-148 Fahrenheit.  I have no complaints and have only heard good things about other pairs of Baffins.

I bought a pair for this years season and I would give Ice Armor Boots a good rating.  Watertight, warm, comfortable, lots of support. The true test will be do they last as I am hard on boots. Can't give you any feedback on this for another season. They may get extra duty starting in March as I am going to give them a try out goose hunting.
