How many ice fishermen have had this happen to them???

I was out fishing this afternoon and had a musk rat come up out of the hole and looked at us there were three of us in a clam command post thermal this afternoon and the crazy animal came up the same hole to look at us three times it was so funny

I had one come up one of the holes of my Ontario shack years ago. It sat in the corner eating something it was holding in it's paws and when it was done it went back down the hole. They have some nasty looking teeth.  :o

I often had them pop up in a spear hole. That will wake you up!

I neversaw a muskrat through the ice but I did pull a mink out of the hole once. It bit into a trout just as I got it to the hole and didn't let go.
