Pigeon Lake vehicle access

So last year we had the shack on Pigeon Lake a few hundred yards south west of the south point of Silver Beach and accessed it from the Mulhurst boat launch. Does any one know if there is any public vehicle access to this area that's a little closer? Maybe from the Lutheran Camp or the Burnt Birch Trailer Association - are they gated or open to the public? The drive on the ice from Mulhurst wasn't too bad until the snow got deep.

Hey JP,
None that I know of.  When I was ice fishing the island I tried finding one.  I also looked around there years ago and there were gates up then.  I really have checked in say the last 4 years so maybe something may have changed but I'm doubting it.
