The long term forecast looks terrible. In the +'s during the day. Its going to be a late start this season for sure. Fingers crossed we get a fast freeze and can hit some pothole trout ponds at the start of December.  :icefish:

Have things ready to go as well.
Filled some time exercising trout but I'm ready for ice now.

You must be awful lucky where you live to find several lakes with decent ice.

I sure would like to see a few pics of these good sized  pike and especially the big walleye.

Southern AB. is I think several weeks away from safe ice.

I was out last weekend at Boulder lake just north of red deer chasing rainbows. Ice was only 6" to 8" still. Gonna be a bit yet before we are able to drive yet

Dandy burbot, nice one Walks on Water. @)

It's always fun to try and get them up the hole when they roll themselves up into a ball.
Than around your arm on the way out. ;)

Yeah, it seems that the fish are being very picky right now, we have to really work to get 1.
Quite a few of us on the SK. form are also reporting fish with lockjaw. :-\

At least the weather is nice to be out in, for the time being. ;)
