Does anybody icefish Pelican Lake near Vernal?

I haven't fished it but I hear people are fishing it now on 4"+ of ice . Big Gills and some nice Largemouth to be had . Don't walk the ice with reeds sticking up , you may break thru .

Thanks for the info! I may try to go down there next weekend. It's been awhile since I caught some nice 'gills....

Only on open water's but love every minute of it my father in law says they done great the other day a ton of gills!!!!!!!!

I bet not because the basin has been colder that the Salt Lake area . Even Utah lake is still holding ice and it has been near 60* lately but it should be gone soon .
