I must be losing my mind, I have had 3 days off since my last trip to the ice and all I have done is coyote hunt. Somone please slap me!!!

My dad said on the way to the lake the other day he can't wait for snow, 'cuz he'd rather be hunting coyotes too, so you're not the only one.

And what's wrong with hunting a few coyote's ?
We have no ice or coyotes to chase .

Its not really that I would rather be hunting yotes,which is my second love,but my buddy is paying for all the gas so its hard to pass up. Soon He will get the fishing bug and we will be running all over the dang place.I told him today we need to head north and do some fishing /hunting. Gotta be some public hunting near some of these lakes/sloughs.

I love hunting coyotes, but i haven't found ice yet either.  I remember one time my dad and I were going out on a lake where we found a SLAMMIN' crappie spot.  we saw a couple guys coming from another launch heading to the same spot.  both of us kept speeding up almost to a jog, then my dad took out the coyote howler and the other guys stopped and said " what the f*** was that.  hehe we beat them to the spot.  we didn't mind sharing it, it was just funny.
