I fished Rockport and Pineview this past week.  Rockport produced 19 perch and 2 rainbows.  It was slower than last week which produced 59 perch.  I had 1 perch at 10", 1 at 9", and 2 at 8" that were kept.  Here's a picture of the first 19" bow.  Both were released.



Pineview was a ghost town; I was the only person fishing it all day long from 7:30 AM until 2:30 PM.  The fish were few and far between.  I drilled 10 sets of holes and only found fish at 6 of them.  Depth's ranged from 32 to 44 FOW.  I end up with 15 perch for the day and all but 2 were under 7".  The 2 may have hit 8", but just barely.  All were released or used for bait.

Ice thickness and edges were excellent in both locations and should support a couple more weeks of fishing if the edges hold up.  I plan to try the ice for at least the next couple of weeks if the edges hold up.
