Grindstone Lake, Pine County

Has anyone on here fished this lake in recent years? I found some posts from about ten years ago with little information. Interested in targeting lakers here, but am curious what else people have targeted here.

Because of the lousy ice forming and lack of that I haven't gone to Grindstone in recent years and lack of snow too.  Don't feel like dragging a sled over frozen gravel grounds.  This year is lousy for ice forming too.  At least we have snowfall on the ground so I may hit up Grindstone this year.

There is a smelt fishing community more recent past couple of years since then.  With more people, also means more trashy people.  Before that, almost no one there and always pristine clean.
