O/T what do you do for work?
« on: Jan 04, 2016, 06:57 AM »
I saw a thread like this on Archery talk, and that it was pretty interesting to see the diversity of jobs.

Personally, I drive tractor trailer locally, delivering milk to supermarkets.  It's a good job that pays well, especially being 26 years old with no student loans making over $50,000/year.  I work 4 days a week, and am done by 10pm most days! I love it. This picture was taken on 1-4-2016 unloading some empty carts from sams club at my office.

Some people say "if it flies it dies"
I'm on record that "if it just sits there, it still dies"

I make corrugated board. Which then gets made into boxes, mainly for the meat packing industry. 50k+ a year with a h.s diploma! Not a bad gig, just wish I had more time to fish!

House and office painter for the last 33 years. Work has slowed down a bit. With the holidays and all. If it don't pick up soon. Unemployment may be an option. Then its look for more work and more ice fishing if we ever get good ice. Made it out yesterday to some back channles of the chain. Got two 9 inch bluegill. That was it. As for safe ice. Not so much.

I work on resting up so I can go Fishing. If I'm not resting I am working in the yard or in the house cleaning. I am pretty tired of resting all the time. I think I will get a part time job this year.

I got 25 years in at the same company. Opportunity knocked about 5 years ago I went from being an explosive technician to a Host at the corporate office. I now get paid to take people fishing, water skiing, four wheeling, and hiking. They also let me BBQ their steaks. It's a pretty good gig. Tight lines
