Your Job
« on: Jan 11, 2006, 06:17 PM »
We did this on the NY BOard and the response was great. I'll try it here. I've been addicted to this site for a couple of years, and have corresponded with many icefishers. However, I do not know alot about alot of you. So, why don't we all post what we do for a living, and maybe we can 'trade' work to each other, or establish business relationships?

Recently, went back to school for computer programming.

Ended up in the engineering dept. for a tool and die shop. Currently doing some minor CAD design, mold flow analysis, print tech, all around MS Office support. They keep finding holes to plug me into  :P.
I get to work with some pretty neat software.

Worked for an automotive aftermarket parts company for 12 years before this.

May eventually end up as a pool repair man if this weather doesn't cool down soon.

Correctional Officer. Working with some of the finest Iowa has to offer :-\. Also deal with some of the best the federal government sends us, while awaiting trial to put them away for a long, long, long time.
Where else can you be locked in with a bunch of people that hate you, and not carry a weapon?  Of course the fights are fun! ;D
