Blue Lake/Chain-O-Lakes...

Went to Blue Lake this morning...Drilled some holes and marked fish, but couldn't get them to do anything!!!  Talk about negative fish!!!  So, I pulled the plug and went back to Rivir Lake at Chain-O-Lakes...Got there around 9:45 and got on fish right away...Good number of people there and all were catching fish...Walked off the ice with 29...I think the front slated to come through tomorrow helped the fishing, they were biting more aggressively than on Sunday...Total fish count for the last 4 trips to the park = 105 panfish...Gonna go again tomorrow for a bit, will report my findings...

Just Wondering, where did you park at Blue Lake???    Is the main lake froze or just the channel???       thanx

I used to jig Rivir for bass on my way home from Wawasee.  The bass jiging action there was always hot. But i never fished it for gills i always had better luck for gills on mud or one of the other lakes

I know some people in the Horse Shoe Bay housing addition that let me park in their driveway.

The whole lake is locked...Horse Shoe Bay had a good 4 inches on it...
