I am going to add sonar to my arsenal this year.  My homemade A-BOMBS have kept me catching fish but I really want to put the hurtin on some specks this year.

I haven't upgraded a thing yet this year.  Put the new Vex camera on my Christmas list, but that's a stretch.  Need to get some work done on the auger, but other than buying 1,000 eurolarve, I'm good!

Those Arctic Armor suits must be nice.  I know of about 5 people that have got them this year.  Congrats on the new suit!

Interested in how the Showdown does for you. I would like to get some type of sonar to use. Main problem is cost. I am thankful when other icefishermen come over and use theirs in my area. I would rather be able to do that myself.

Big this year is my wife is ready to try ice fishing. She has her new knee and is ready to test it on the ice. She's a tough girl and rarely complains. May be a good thing. Then again, she went duck hunting with me on Saginaw Bay and realized she married a nut!

I would love to go to Eerie. Just don't know much about where, how, what, when and of course cost!

How do you like the Nanook???

I am looking at the Nanook or X2 for this season.  The X2 is much larger and heavier, but I do most of my fishing in Minnesota and I think the larger one will be more beneficial.
Men and fish are alike.  They both get into trouble

Haven't tried it on the ice yet...just got put together but so far so good. I think we are going to like it since it feels very user friendly for what we are hoping to get out of it (mainly get us out of the wind on those nasty harsh days when you want to go so bad but the weather isn't cooperating). I am a little worried about pulling it around with the weight in all since we won't be using a quad or a snowmobile to move it around but that is my only issue with it. I sat in about 5 different Frabills two days ago and like them as well. I think between Clam, Frabill, and Otter you can't go wrong!
