I did it! I got out of my wifes uncles wedding. His wife died a few years ago and hes getting remarried. I been trying to think of a way to skip it and finally came up with a way. I caught strep throat and they told me to stay home or go fishing just dont come to the wedding. Yippeee!

If I tried to get out of going somewhere and was sick my wife would hire someone to sit with so I wouldn't go anywhere. Especially fishin, ice fishin. Some people have all the luck.

Good luck this weekend. Let us unlucky icefishermen who dont have enough ice yet know how you make out. :'(

Congrats Seag. How much ice you have down there? Which species you plan to target?
Keep us posted as to how you do...

Heres the best part: She decided to go visit her sister Sat night so I got Sat AND Sun to fish. I only plan to target perch walleye blugills and crappies. We only got 4-6" but that is the best time to go. We are forecast for some cold stuff next week so we`ll be on thicker ice soon.
