Title: light weight bibs?

I am looking for a new pair of bibs for the upcoming ice season.  I've used Ice Armor for many years but I've come to realize they are too heavy for 80% of the fishing that I do.  I don't need that much insulation for early and late season and, during mid winter I'm often in a shelter of some type.  Does anyone make a lightweight ice fishing bib with knee pads?  It seems like there are full-blown heavy bibs or lightweight bibs without knee pads more intended for inclement weather open water fishing.  Thanks in advance.

Buy what fits you well and a pair of knee pads.

I bought these for early season when it's not as cold. I hardly ever wear my Strikers now unless I go North. Got them with a big discount at the end of year 2 seasons ago, and I'm so glad I did.

If you wear the Clam Blue suit ...which is very equivalent  to the Striker Ice Predator @100g of insulation. I suggest taht you go with the Striker Ice Trekker series @ 80g.

Clam also use to make a uninsulated bib ..but they may have been discontinued.

All I have used is just some downhill skiing/snowboard pants.  They are light weight in that respect.

  I use Cabelas gore tex bibs. I wear a pair of flannel lined jeans under them. If its real windy and cold I'll wear the fleece lined jeans. I stay bone dry and warm without the extra weight of snow/ski pants.
Took a swim up to my waist last winter and stay completely dry under the gore tex!
