Well I headed to the lake yesterday ti sett the hut and made it 2 blocks from the house and the spindle snapped in to. No one around this area had any so I had to order my parts. It will not be that hard to rebuild and I feel lucky it was close to home. I guess 12 years on 40 year old parts isn't that bad.

Nope. Once again! You did well!

Were you headed to your normal area between poison and bad water?
-
yes I was

My parts came in and should be on the lake by Thursday.

To have more of a permanent hut on the ice in Wyoming does one have to do anything special? Any tags or labeling on house?

Buddy of mine is looking into building a permanent and has been trying to find information on using it on the state parks and not having much luck. I know for a camper you have to occupy it nightly and would hate to have to pull one on and off all the time. Just looked at the regulations and all it states is the person shall remove the shelter before ice out. Cannot find where it used to say name attached to the shelter as well so they might have removed that one.
