I would spend a while training my last minnow to behave like a boarder collie. Then i would put a leash of line on him and drop him down the hole, as he rounds up other minnows into the hole i'd just scoop em out and put them in the bucket, and hey presto more bait!

Or use the time wisely to experiment more with either plastics or darter type lures..... sorry how many beers were left??

When you guys say use parts of the minnow, like the head, how do you get it off? Do you rip it, cut it, or bite it???
never tried to get one off ::)just pinch it off

Put it on a tip-up and start jigging for perch. Put them on the other tip-ups and wait for a big Pike to come along and eat them, while jigging for more. If it really gets bad I will call the wife!!! She will complain but she will bring me more...
If fishing was work I'd never be sick!
