Frozen?
« on: Nov 16, 2022, 09:17 AM »
All the small ponds around me in the panhandle are frozen.  Any update on bigger water?  My dad in Utah will probably be ice fishing next week on the reservoirs in Idaho.  Thanksgiving ice fishing for me!

I would doubt it if the dirt hasn't frozen yet. Takes a bit to get things locked up

Thought I'd try to get one last open water session at Holmes yesterday, but it was probably 85% capped from what I could see. Not thick enough to get on (anywhere from skim to maybe 1/2") but with the cold snap coming we might be on before Christmas!
