Garmin live scope question
« on: Dec 13, 2018, 09:37 AM »
I have the echomap plus 73 cv ice. Has anyone added live scope to one of these. Garmin support says
Part number 3980908180 should work plus a new battery although I'm not sure if he was familiar with the build.
Thank you, any help would be appreciated.

As long as you have a plus unit you can get Livescope. The reason for the new battery is Livescope takes more juice to run. Lots of folks running double Lithium batteries.

I have heard that the system really drains the battery quite fast. Any one have any real time experience with how long the battery lasts? Any suggestions on a battery that will last longer?
