My windows are closed.  ;)

Anyway, it's about insulation and one can always sandwich another layer of clear acrylic into the windows.  It will help reduce ice crystals.  But I'm not about to start ordering spare windows...not yet.

i dont know if it would work on plastic windows but you can try... i put shaving cream on my mirror in the bathroom so it doesnt fog up just rub some on and wipe it off  it leaves a film and your mirror wont fog up

any anti fog solution would work I think. we use diluted baby shampoo on our diving masks. I've also read about soap and shaving cream.

You don't need to see out the windows much.  Just wait for your neighbors to start yelling Flag!, then clear the window to see if it's one of yours. ;D

Rub a slice of potato on it

Seriously. The starch keeps it from fogging. Gonna have to reapply but it works

Toothpaste massaged onto the window then wiped off is another remedy.

Realistically it's a losing battle without a ton of air circulation though.  Between the moisture that's released from ventless propane heaters, that in your breath, and that coming off your body that is generated while you're moving around (and starting to sweat), you're creating a really humid environment that combines with the big temperature difference inside vs outside to create a perfect recipe for foggy windows.

Baby shampoo is what we used on our plastic face masks while playing hockey. Did the trick

When your fishing on the border, and when the wind blows south you can smell the stripper perfume.

I stopped fighting it, just scrape off the frost with your finger nails when you want to look outside. Between the propane and your breath it is a losing battle.

Something I found works is an old snowmobile trick . Lemon Pledge furniture polish . As an added bonus , it also fills in the scratches that plastic windows/goggles get over time and makes them clear as new again .
