The birdbath...
« on: Oct 30, 2023, 04:59 PM »
It looks like we are going to get teased a bit.  The low temp for the next two days in Indy is forecast to be in the mid 20s.
That may just lock up the birdbath!

Have ice on the boat cover here, and potholes in the driveway are frozen over this morning.

Some of the ditches have skinned over here, and it started snowing about an hour ago.

We've got a dusting on the ground here, too, but it'll melt off once the sun hits it this morning.

Ha!!! Skim ice on Lake George in Hobart! Ducks and geese just got to North and South Dakota but weather is suppose to be on the warm side so they will no doubt stay a couple weeks! >:(

Flurries on Tuesday.  Tonight, Thursday, it's 53 out and there is a slight chance of rain.  I've been wondering
where the ducks went.  The only ones here are the 'bread feds" in the apartment catchment ponds.  I've heard
sandhills 3 times and still haven't seen any.  2 Sundays ago we had a pretty fair push. It's weird. We've had redwing
blackbirds at our seed feeders.

We had a bit of skim starting on little park and farm ponds, but yesterday wiped all that out. 10 day forecast here is all 40s and 50s for highs  :-\
