Title: Big Fish Johnny!

Johnny O strikes again!  While us mere humans were ogling 13" perch, Johnny puts a whopping' on a 13lb (At Least) kitty.  I got to pull the beast thru the hole for some side Glory! ;D

All fish are still swimming!

I'm happy for you and Johnny - nice fish - but This can't be from Colorado.  Wyoming maybe  or maybe some ice that is fishable in Kansas. 

I'm jealous incase you cant' tell!!!

Haha!  It really is Colorado.  AND----not far from Denver!

Nice, Johnny!  That's a pig.  Looks like you guys found some nice perch, too.
I'm surprised all that tasty meat went back down the holes with Slayer in the vicinity, lol   ;D 
Freezer must be full...  ;)

Thought is was going to be lights out fishing, as we got this walleye early, and it attacked my bait like an eye should! Unfortunately (or fortunately) that cat was my only other fish of the day.

Fishing was slow, so we all moved around quite a bit. I moved closer to the shore in 11ft of water. Fished a half an hour and didn't mark a thing. As I was getting ready to move, A huge red mark came up to my spoon & smashed it! Heart was thumping & I swear I didn't breathe for 10 minutes. I'm glad Mike saw me and came over, as I'm not sure I could of gotten her out on my own. Glad I had an 8in. hole, it barely fit through that!

Tried to get a weight on it, but couldn't get it to stay on the scale. Guesstimating 33-34 inches, as my gold measuring board ends at 23in, then we measured (added) another 11 inches.

Been a great ice fishing season this year, Man I love retirement!!  ;D

Tug is THE drug!  Awesome catching, I can’t imagine how suspenseful it was battling it and getting it through the hole, with them sharp cat picks trying otherwise. Prolly the best fish I seen through the ice this season.  You retired guys sure know how to have fun.
