Heading up to warm lake with a group of guys this weekend and am bringing along the whole ice fishing arsenal! We have talked to a couple guys, tackle Tom, the guy who runs things out there but no one has any good leads for us on what areas to target. Anyone ever fish it? Willing to enlighten the unenlightened?

Been waiting for someone to head up there, I thought about it myself just for something new to try. You know the road is plowed then all the way to the lake?

I fished it a long time ago. Probably 8 years at least. We fished out from the lodge or whatever it was. We had fast action on small trout all day. I was told the deeper water was on the opposite end. Supposedly there are Macs in there.
It would be nice to hear how it's doing now. We didn't have any problems driving in. I just figured I could catch planters somewhere closer and we haven't been back.

Anyone know the depths of the lake, which end is deep or shallow. I've never been there.

Warm lake fished well. We caught rainbows, brookies, and kokanee. the fish were on the small side but we pulled 2 brookies out that were in the 14-15" range. PM if you want more details. The northshore lodge was a lot of fun. A little rough...no running water...but at $100 a night for a cabin that slept 5 comfy 7 not so comfy it wasnt at all bad. you could probably even talk them down a little more. they have a bar and restaurant in the main lodge that will cook for you or serve you any drink you could think of (open till 2 AM) The food is quite good. The road in is nicely plowed. anything else?
