Saw a post on Facebook of people fishing it last week.  Drove by yesterday and it is still "iced" over.  I am sure it's junk ice, but if you are set on fishing it and are careful I am sure you would be OK.

I drilled some holes on Big Wood in Jackman on Saturday and had about 2' 40-50' off the boat launch.  Like I said, it is junk ice though.
