Using Marcum Ice Transducer for Kayak/Canoe
« on: Jan 09, 2021, 08:51 AM »
Has anyone figured out a way to mount the conical shaped Marcum transducer to the various transducer arms that are available for kayaks/canoes?  Trying to avoid have to spend the money for the open water transducer that is available.....

Thanks,

Phil

Does the arm lock the transducer in place so it can't move in relation to the boat?  If it doesn't then through hull for sure.  If you just dangle it off an arm or a float it will be constantly swinging around with every movement of the boat or water.
I'm a man, but I can change, If I have to, I guess.
