Just Bought my Vex FL-18 Ultra Pack!!!!

I am so psyched about going out and trying it out on the Ice.......8)

Drove to the new Cabela's Mega Store in Hamburg, PA...talked quite a bit with the salesman about local lakes and stuff like that. What a place, and the aquarium is AWESOME, some biggies in there!!!

We started talking about the Vex, I was looking at the Genz FL-18, when the good salesman said "If your gonna get a Genz Pack FL-18, you may as well just choke up the extra $60 and get the Ultra Pack"

I agreed...man, I can't wait to get ouy there and GETEEEEEEEEEMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

Hi Lou-- I hope that your new baby helps more than Operaman's  or maybe it was just the time, pressure, lake, location, or people he was fishing with. LOL

Let me tell you what. I had the best day on the Ice I have had all year. The Vex was an EXCELLENT investment, I mean, I watched fish watch, I saw Fish take my bait....it's just unreal how well it works. And for the best part, I caught the biggest perch I have ever landed on the Ice.....13" 1.36 lbs.........It's a FOOTBALL

All ice fisherman should have a flasher is you dont you should start saveing for one ;)If your wife wont let you get one ,you chicken stand up boy you need a flasher look at the smile on this guys face  8) you need sun glasses its so bright.I never have met a man who hated his flasher his wife yes  but not his flasher she is sooooooo good tohim she never lies

The first fish I caught was a nice Smallmouth Bass....I actually saw the freakin thing hit my bait on the Vex...I watched my little green line (jig) get consumed by a Giant Red line...it was AWESOME..and what a fight on 2lb test UltraLight jigging rod........I was sold that Instant!!!

The best part is...I can mount it on my Boat Too!!!!

I saw them at work several times, on Boats and out Ice Fishing with other guys, but never had one in my Hole to actually see how well it works. This past year I've been out with several guys that had them, and I was sold just watching them have success with it.

It's all about the three L's
