I read this on the MT Fort Peck lake info. Thought folks from WY should share some of the sorrow.

I just found out today that I had personally known the man from Wyoming who had drowned. I am very good friends with his family and relatives. I was shocked, when I spoke with his one of his daughters and sons today, that he (Ron Spomer, Sr from Cody, WY) was the one who had drowned. I had ice fished and fly fished with him a few times. Ron had fished throughout his lifetime and was one who tried to be safe while out fishing. We just never know, even when we try to take the necessary precautions. Besides being an ice fisherman in Wyoming, I am also a pastor in the Catholic church. I will be assisting his grandson, who is the pastor at the Catholic church in Lewistown, at Ron's funeral Mass on Saturday in Cody. Please keep the family in your prayers. God bless.

I don't believe so. The writer lives in Idaho I believe.

PS * I looked up his obituary and it's for sure not the writer. Great photograph of the gentleman wearing his ice picks and hold a nice walleye. RIP
