MY Bull Trout Ruby Eyed Wobbler 3oz
Men and fish are alike….
they both get into trouble
when they open their mouths.

I tend to fish the small little glow jigs with a pink maggot. It is kinda like chironomid fishing for me. Works great, you just have to be right on the take as to hook them in the lip. I cant find a better way for picky rainbows and not to bad for brook trout either. Not to mention all the course fish you can shake a stick at. ;)

My own brew, a piece of turd mixed with flour. Formed into mini donuts and zap strapped onto a large hook...total burbot killer

Ohhh Ise....I hope luck pays you out, cause your competing with new school techniques.

The first week of december I ate bear for a week straight. The second week deer. The third week moose. And the last week.....burbot

31", 32". It was the first time I landed a couple big ones. After thinking about all the little ones I caught and released and how rare the big ones are, I started to feel a little guilty about keeping them both. I plan on practicing catch and release this season now that I got the catching down.

And for the record...so far bear works best  ;)

Luck aient got anything to do with it,   time on the ice does, and Big burbot feed less than 100 feet from where I sleep at night so I plan to log in Many,  Many........ MANY...... did I say MANY hours this winter,     every night 6:00pm til 10:30pm should secure a solid fish     ;)         when did you catch those little ones?    Mine burp those up after a meal,     keep at it

haha you said log

I got em new years. It was a right place at the right time moment, about 10 minutes apart :flex:

I needed it, too many skunked days you know. We'll see how much I get out, would've been nice to put BC on the board.
