one island lake

anyone have any tips on ice fishing there cant get the big rainbows to bite

I talked to a guy today that said he only uses a small orange jig with a very small orange twister and a peice of shrimp at One Island.  It wouldn't be my go to gear for trout but I'll make sure I have one next time I'm out there.

caught one 2.5 pound brook trout yesterday that one is just a little one a guy from dawson caught a 26 pound rainbow out of there

Probably means 26 lbs but I know there is very big rainbow there, I heard in the teens no prob.  :o :o

yah 26lbs i couldnt belive him when he told me that there is huge fish in there they just dont bite lots of people call it no fish lake the fish are very pickey
