Reading Flashers?
« on: Feb 25, 2004, 12:40 PM »
Sounds like a dumb question but are flashers difficult to read?  I have used LCD fishfinders for years but use them only to measure depth and bottom contours.  I have not found them helpful in locating submerged structure, bottom texture or fish.  When I look at adds for flashers, they seem so hard to interpret as compared to LCD models.  Are they difficult to read?  Are they more useful than LCDs?

The Vex is simple to read.  I was worried I'd be real confused.  After I read the instructions, I couldn't believe how simple it was.  I strongly recommend a Vexilar.  They are a phenomenal tool to help you catch fish.  Example....last Saturday, 2 of us on the ice.  Me with my Vex, my friend old school style.  For every fish he pulled out.....I matched with at least three.  I couldn't believe it.

GO VEX!!!
